Whiplash

Andrew Neiman, a talented drummer, enrolls at a prestigious music conservatory where he dreams of becoming one of the greats. He is accepted into the school's top jazz ensemble led by the tyrannical and abusive instructor, Terence Fletcher. Fletcher's teaching methods are extreme, pushing Andrew to his physical and emotional limits. The film explores the intense relationship between teacher and student, highlighting the sacrifices and the toll it takes on Andrew's mental and physical well-being.
